BIOGRAPHY

Hi, I'm Jonny, a Yorkshire-based photographer with a love for wildlife, nature and exploring new places.

You'll usually find me outdoors searching for interesting light, unique landscapes or wildlife encounters, camera in hand. My photography is all about capturing the beauty and character of the natural world, from iconic locations to the quieter moments that often go unnoticed.

My photography journey began while living in London, where I first developed a passion for using a camera to tell stories and capture moments. During that time, I ran a headshot photography business, helping professionals create images that reflected their personality and professionalism. While I enjoyed working with people, I increasingly found myself drawn to the outdoors and the challenge of photographing nature, wildlife and the places I visited.

Having since moved back to Yorkshire, where I'm originally from, I've been fortunate to rediscover some of the UK's most beautiful landscapes right on my doorstep. From the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors to the coastlines, gardens and nature reserves that make Britain such a remarkable place to explore, I enjoy documenting the places, wildlife and experiences that inspire people to get outside and discover more.​

As well as sharing my photography online, I am available to work with visitor attractions, tourism destinations, gardens, hospitality businesses and other organisations looking for authentic imagery that showcases their location and visitor experience. You'll also find some of my images available to buy as prints in my online store.
